Superhoot presents a Burn’s Night special down at the Hoot and we’ll be celebrating in style with a killer mix of brass band dancefloor fillers! The infamous HAGGIS HORNS will be bringing their brass extravaganza to Brixton with their funk-fueled blend of breakbeats, hip hop, soul and afrobeat.
Having been at the forefront of the UK funk scene for over a decade – a 7 piece live funk extravaganza combining heavy breakbeat funk, soul, hip hop & afrobeat with the virtuosity of trained jazz musicians. With four funk-fuelled albums under their belt, they have been rocking crowds the world over for years winning fans with their distinctive northern funk sound
Alongside them festival funksters BYOB (Bring Your Own Brass!) will be shaking down the Hoot with their heavy riffs, dancefloor grooves and a brand new live set to boot.
An 11-piece brass band who have been tearing up festival stages with their original mix of hip hop beats, heavy riffs and dancefloor grooves. Forged in the fires of Passing Clouds, BYOB regularly packed out the legendary venue well into the early hours. Since then BYOB have been whipping up a storm at festivals and venues across the UK and Ireland. In 2017 they headlined the opening night on the main stage at Glastonbury’s Shangri-la; they have packed out stages at Boomtown, Shambala, Lovebox, Citadel, Hootananny and the Scala. This is a live experience you can’t afford to miss.
Groove School’s DJ REUBEN GREEN brings his eclectic mix of smooth grooves and mash ups to keep it funky all night!

Plus the incredible kilted Highland pipers Calum Fraser and Euan Macenzie to bagpipe the spirit of Burns alive.
