Stranger than Paradise presents THE AFTER HOURS LIVE ELECTRO SWING BAND with an artful matery of technologies both old and new the band manage to blend uber modern dance styles (ghetto funk, DnB) with the sounds of the origional dance craze: Swing baby!!
”Fusing Jazz with funky bass lines, the Quintet come close to Electro-Swing without dipping their feet to deeply in the generic puddle, clearly encompassing a wider range of influences.. Hip-Hop, Funk, Reggae, DnB, House, Balkan…” +

THE PENNY BLACK REMEDY, a blend of surf skiffle hillbilly deep country and rock and roll !
Playing songs off their new album “Maintaining Dignity in Awkward Situations”
Their songs stay with you and you’ll find yourself singing them in the shower long after the curtain has fallen – we are thrilled to have them after our seven year itch!
Since being formed in 2006 by singer/songwriter Keith M Thomson, The Penny Black Remedy have been proudly defiant in the face of categorisation – utilising their shared love and passion for all forms of music from around the globe to create a wholly distinctive and unmistakable sound all their own. Moving eccentric and it times ridiculous , never taking their eye of the ball, never taking themselves too seriously – no wonder they have lasted this long , like a good wine they get better with age! +

NIGHTBUZZ: Rock n Roll meets the wild west with the weird and wonderful Rudy Blu ( Ballin Jacks ) at the helm – with this five piece london based ensemble you can expect psychadelia free style jazz synth pop and of course the blues! +

RUBY DESHABILLE , one of our favourite true blondes on the STP stage!
Funny girl next store sweetness on the inside dark dangerous sexuality on the out!
She whips her audiences into a frenzy or sends them into a trance and always, always leaves them wanting more.
Inspired by the classic splendour of early 20th century film stars, the grand opulence of Victorian and Gothic architecture and the delicate beauty of nature itself, Ruby’s performances lure you into another world altogether. +
