Superhoot present a night full of raucous rhythms. Tankus The Henge bring their wild Rock n Roll fusion to the Hoot, while Cable Street Collective’s tropical stompers will be sure to get you moving.

TANKUS THE HENGE is the London based, five wheeled, Funk fuelled, open top, custom paint job, Rock ‘n’ Roll jalopy that comes careering round the corner on a tranquil summer’s day, ruining the silence and disturbing the bats. Having played over 1000 shows all over the world the Tankus The Henge live experience is something to behold. Combining wild showmanship and musical dexterity their sound incorporates Rock, Funk, Blues, Ska, Roots and Gypsy rhythms and their songs tell stories of wonder and woe.
CABLE STREET COLLECTIVE, mix African-influenced guitars, Reggae and Latin influences and the South African Kwela spirit with dance beats to create upbeat, festival-friendly tunes. With the recent release of their second EP – Where Now From Here? following up on their well-received debut, 2014’s The Best of Times, which attracted critical acclaim and airtime on BBC Radio 6Music, Cable Street Collective bring their party to the Hoot.
BASSFACE, Electric double bass, synth and vocals bring you jungle, acid house and DnB favourites to jump about to. That face you make when a filthy beat drops… only with 20 live drummers!
DJ GYPSY BOX mixes a huge range of different folkloric sounds from around the world fused with eclectic sounds from contemporary electronic music, bringing a message of unity and brotherhood among nations: “Peace and Dance”.
