Songwriters and Wordsmiths brings you ALEX BAYLY AND HIS BAND, a London based singer songwriter with an ear for mournful melodies and a wistful chorus. Having cut his teeth on both London’s rock and folk scenes independently, his debut EP, ‘New America’ straddles both worlds with a natural elegance and delicate hand.
Bayly’s English folk roots that add a unique depth to the tense, ethereal song writing. Nods to the great folk traditions are liberally littered throughout and lyrically themes range from satirical takes on modern politics, and the pressures of city living, to the the olde worlde romanticism of wind swept moors and whisky soaked nights by the fire.
JW EDWARDS, Hailing from North London, Edwards has spent years honing his unique alternative sound, drawing influences from Folk, Rock and World music.
ELI, she first started composing at the age of fourteen and. for one still so young, she shows remarkable confidence and command in her art.
She combines percussive guitar with ethereal vocal lines and creates her own, versatile sound. An extremely engaging mix of acoustic rock, pop and spiritual with lyrics that aren’t afraid to tackle difficult subjects.
