Stranger Than Paradise presents SEAS OF MIRTH, a salty-smelling mega unit of sea dwelling reprobates with a mighty galleon of sound… landlocked in the East Midlands. Drums, retro organs, guitars, strings and bellows contribute to their invasive noises and the live shows draw you in with the aid of crowd-surfing crustaceans and a cataclysmic tug-of-war. Coming from distant shores ‘cross stormy waters with tales of nautical misfortune that will shake you to your earthly core. Think of it as a sort of truncated nautical B-movie featuring a cast of characters dealing with tempestuous sea conditions, gargantuous mythical beasts, mutiny, tales of severe intoxication and the old heart-crushing love song!

JOHNNY KOWALSKI AND THE SEXY WEIRDOS, a road hardened punk band from Birmingham. Their distinct style blends the raw energy of punk with other diverse musical styles; eastern European folk music, Jamaican dub, ska and metal all find their way into the mix.
Since 2009 the Sexy Weirdos have carved out their own unique niche in the UK and Europe alike
The whole band perform with swagger and without shame. Their purpose is to coax, seduce and tantalise audiences into the joy of dancing with abandon. They have trawled over 5000 miles on land and see across Europe with fine fettle and are ready to rise to the challenge of taking their free spirited opposite of ne’er do well attitude whenever the opportunity arises!

STRANGE BLUE DREAMS, the hardest band to pigeonhole! This Scottish crew seem to fall into the genre along the lines of skifflebilly ( my new word) surf country and old time rock and roll. They are the original hipsters with deft lyrics framed by atmospheric arrangements, impassioned performances and the band’s trademark soaring harmonies

FELICITY FURORE, dangerous, glamorous and scandalous burlesque adding comedy and satire to the mix

+
DJS SACHA DIEU & MS MANRAY, Balkan gypsy, electro swing, gypsy folk and rock ‘n roll
