Superhoot presents HOOTANANNY 10TH BIRTHDAY WEEKEND with WRONGTOM MEETS THE RAGGA TWINS.
Renegade roots and dub producer Wrongtom mashes up Hootananny with legendary breakbeat/jungle MCs The Ragga Twins. In the latest of his ‘Wrongtom Meets…’ installments, Flinty Badman & Deman Rockers collaborate to take you back to the ‘80s reggae and dancehall landscape. Genre-crossing, reggae-rooted producer Wrongtom is well known for his solo productions, DJ sets and collaborations including Roots Manuva, Hard Fi and Deemas J. Together with these veteran sound system MCs the album has received plays and praise from Toddla T (BBC R1), David Rodigan (BBC 1Xtra), John Kennedy (Radio X) & Steve Lamacq (BBC 6Music). When we say the live show is incendiary we mean fire! +

THE HEMPOLICS are out to put those organic rootsy vibes back into music; with their fat radio-friendly hooks, bumping soundsystem bass and a wanderlusty, ineffably real sound all of their own. Combined with tight as a tick live performances the Hempolics have a storm brewing that promises to tear up the UK music scene. +

COUNT BOBO: This rocksteady and vintage ska 6 piece come out of Bristol’s Bloom collective. They play that lovely old style of gorgeous analogue-fuzz, heartwarming, live rocksteady for lovers. Taking influence from The Skatalites, Jackie Mittoo and Roland Alphonso, they play tunes to nice up the dance, bob your head and move your dancing feet. +

DJ WRONGTOM + DJ EMILY DUST hold down the decks spinning Reggae to Dancehall to Global bass bangers.
Radar Radio favourite spinning beats from around the world, from dancehall to global bass.
