Superhoot presents BRASSROOTS: London’s original brass band party starters – Funk, Soul & Hip Hop with a big bashy twist!
A long Hootananny favourite – these party starters helped establish the new flourishing of brass bands in the capital. Brassroots receive global airplay from the likes of Gilles Peterson, Rob Da Bank & the USA’s legendary Jeremy Sole on KCRW. Incorporating vocals into their originals they use cleverly and subtly adapted electronic elements with effects pedals and frequency manipulations. +

KAUW: Direct from Amsterdam – Organ driven hypnotic funk, jazz & dance music.
This Amsterdam-trio produces live house music. With influences drawn from all over the musical spectrum and beats that go round the clock, KAUW is ready to groove up the nightlife. With keys, bass and drums these instrumentalists are connecting strong harmonies and spacey melodies, creating their own infectious sound. Connecting live with nightlife and ready to bring analogue electronics into the clubs bringing instruments instead of records. +

YAZMIN LACEY, Sweet melodies and classic soul. It’s no wonder she’s been getting love from Gilles Peterson’s Future Bubblers project, as well as BBC 1xtra, BBC Introducing and Stamp The Wax. “Yaz is a beautiful soul, a poet and an engineer of the sweetest melodies. Her knack for shaping phrases gives her the subtle genius of a legend in the making. Do not sleep on this girl” Acoustickle +

DJ KMT: Hip-Hop, Afrobeats and bangers to get your head bobbing and knees wobbling
