Superhoot presents a night of protest party Ska, Freakabilly and Reggae with this incredible line-up. Captain Ska, the band behind the viral song ‘Liar Liar’ bring their brass filled Ska fusion to the Hoot. Oh! Gunquit bring their unique flavour with a blur of howling vocals, horns, buzzsaw guitars, rumbling toms, and exotic R&R fun. DJ Count Skylarkin, an authority in all things Reggae, will be keeping the party going before and after.

CAPTAIN SKA, the band behind UK chart top 5 political smash hit ‘Liar Liar’, Captain Ska were formed in 2010 when trumpeter / producer Jake Painter decided there wasn’t a big enough musical response to austerity and neoliberalism. Comprised of some of London’s finest session musicians, this 8-piece band’s brass filled fusion of Ska, Reggae and Hip-Hop has ever since been filling clubs, festivals and political events across the UK in what the band like to describe their “Protest Party” to get people thinking and dancing. “An infectious synth reggae attack” – The Guardian
